I love Deva Premal and Miten. 🙂 They got a beautiful new age duo.
I also really appreciate Snatam Kaur – a talented Sikh singer. Her music feels really high vibrational to me. =)

Your intelligence is highly developed and that’s great. I am too a very analytical person, but I’ve learned to tune into my body and my heart (feelings, emotions, intuition) and that brought a great balance into my life. F.ex. instead of thinking with my mind what kind of food my body needs right now and judging it I just try to listen to my body, ask it questions and then receive answers about what it needs. I think you wrote a really important word in this case: TRUST. With time and practice you’ll be able to trust your body and heart more and more, and that will let your mind rest a little. 🙂

First of all I think: You just love yourself. Period.
What you describe as “shortcomings” is just your minds interpretation of yourself, it doesn’t have to be true at all. Loving yourself involves understanding who you are and how you function without judging yourself or seeing it as your flaws.
There is no such thing as good or bad personal traits. They just are. The challenge is to be able to direct yourself in the positive direction that will benefit you.
F.ex.: Someone who has a strong temper might use that trait positively, and transform the anger into persistence, passion, strenghth of will etc.
So in my opinion it’s all about finding out who you truly are and become in control of your thoughts, feelings and your own reality. 🙂

Dear you. Thank you for sharing this with us.

The first thing that comes to my mind: It seems to me that you are stuck in a life that is not really in tune with your hearts desires. Do you know how to listen to your heart and follow it? What are your dreams and desires? What life would you like to create for yourself? Don’t be afraid of really wishing the best for yourself, because you deserve it and happiness is your birthright.

You seem like a very mature person for your age. Have you ever tried to go a little deeper within and really feel where this shame and low self-esteem comes from?
To really move forward we need to change from within. We need to find the real source of our problems, and that can be an old childhood trauma, or an issue that hasn’t really been resolved for a long time. Once the energy is balanced, our outer life automatically change. That’s just how it works in this universe. 🙂

You also seem a little stuck right now, as that you are afraid of making the wrong move. One thing is sure: There is no such thing as a wrong move. Every step you take forward will bring you somewhere. Let go of your fear of moving forward. ANY step will help, even the smallest one.

And the last thing I want to add: Sometimes it takes a complete crises to happen, in order for us to really wake up and start making changes for ourself. My point is: Be really happy that you are where you are right now, because it’s always the darkest before the dawn. And later you will look back and see that you wouldn’t have made it that far if you didn’t go through this challenging time in your life.

Wishing you all the best. 🙂

Every addiction always starts with the mind before our body gets hooked. Another thing is that we are creatures of habits.
Because of that I strongly believe that if we want to change a habit, the way towards a permanent change is to add a new healthy habit little by little, instead of going completely cold turkey with the old unhealthy one. That way our mind will not start to protest and the transition will become smooth.

F.ex.: Instead of cutting out all of the sugary products at once, try to add a little bit more of fruits and berries in your diet. Let your mind and body get used to the change. Then a little bit more. If you love chocolate – try to gently switch to dark chocolate.
Your mind and body will automatically follow the new direction, and you will avoid emotional turbulance that usually comes if you cut it all out at the same time.

It seems to me that you are pretty aware of what you want to change in your life, and that is one powerful first step you got right there! Congratulations, you’re on your way to success! 🙂
