ParticipantHi April,
What an interesting question! I tend to draw and make visuals when when my mind is full and I don’t want to think…it’s very relaxing. It’s less complicated and more primitive. I usually write to explore themes, create stories or process feelings and emotions.

ParticipantThanks Vincent…it seems like that combo works for many of us!

ParticipantThanks Guy! I’ll stick with mailchimp for now and then switch to aweber : )

ParticipantHi Kavetha,
I just started a site called rainbowframework.com It’s a universal color coded life visual. In the past I’ve worked as a nutritionist and teacher. I’m fascinated by creativity, psychology and philosophy. What is the best way to contact you?

ParticipantHey Zenyu,
Thanks so much for the great advice. I’ve been doing a lot of research and taking webinars…lots of mentors in this field. I think building relationships is key and I couldn’t agree more about persistence. This is a roller coaster ride on so many levels and there is no clear path for the tracks.
I find it fascinating that you are an ordained Buddhist chaplain. Although I’m not a practicing Buddhist, I’ve been very interested in Buddhism for some time. I love your site…lots of great themes and yes we/our sites have a lot in common. I subscribed and I’m looking forward to your writings.

ParticipantHey Kavetha,
Fascinating topic! It’s great mindfulness is getting the attention it deserves. The scientific research is highlighting/proving what people have known for centuries. Good luck with you ebook : )

Participant@Hannah Believe me we’ve thought about it but they’re really thriving in their schools and my son (9 years) in particular often states he never wants to leave his great life. So for now we just watch house hunters international and fantasize : )

ParticipantThanks Joshua, I’ll inquire with mailchimp and keep madmimi in mind : )

ParticipantI believe that spirituality is a universal human expression and is the seed of most religions.
It can be expressed inside or outside the context of a specific religion.
Religion plays a big role in terms of societal structure and rules.
This can at times interfere with spiritual expression/oneness.

ParticipantHi Maia,
Sure. Thanks for asking.
It’s rainbowframework.com The rainbow framework is a color coded visual representation of the concrete and abstract parts of life. It gives you an organized view of life and helps you expand your self expression by showing you where you might be disconnected or blocked. Some of the main themes are self expression, creativity, blocks, finding your purpose, spirituality, meditation, evolution of consciousness etc.
I’ve gotten the site moving along and I’m now putting together the workshops – I want these to focus on self expression, creativity and be a fun time. It’s definitely a lot to juggle and takes time to build a presence.
What is your business and what is the # one piece of advise you would give someone starting out?

ParticipantWhat a great idea Danielle. I find copy to be more of a challenge.

ParticipantI’ve heard that mailchimp is not that open to affiliates. I’m not familiar with madmimi – what do you like about it?

Participant@ Debra wow! 4-6 weeks. I think that would really work for me to know I have it all layed out. Also, I could modify and add any new ideas I come up with.
@ Lisa Hello! Me too. Time to move past spinning wheels.
@ Jacki Yes, a combination of the two with an emphasis on planning. Free writing is great for generating ideas.
@ Sara This is definitely the direction I’m heading in. Maybe even planning a monthly theme.
Thanks! Happy writing/blogging : )
