Hello everyone, it’s Dave again from Costa Rica. (my English is worst than ever, sorry for that hehe)
Few months ago I wrote a post about my current situation at that moment, I felt lost and also very wounded in some way.
Well, since that I began to make a “few moves” on my spiritual practice and believes. Somehow I managed to get a little place in the mountain to build a little house with some fields around it to sow some stuff and keep some chickens, that was my dream since I was a child.Looking more deeply at this, I found that most of the time I was unhappy was because I was trying to detach myself from situations that were beyond my control but at the same time I was letting those situations to control my spiritual practice so I was in a very destructive self sabotage cycle. While I was replying some comments on my posts I discovered the surface of what true compassion means to me and since then I took my practice further, I applied it on my daily life as my way of being but also as my way to deal with some bad situations wich arose after I got some “good news” in my life.
The point of writing and sharing this post is to encourage people to flow in life authenticly and strong on their own truth, somehow all the harm and wounds left by my family and everything else allowed me to discover the truth of myself and allow it to fully express itself. My new little farm will be call as “a leaf in the wind” .
Wish you all the best,
Dave.

Thank you for your kind words. The name leaf in the wind comes from my believes and it’s the best lesson I learned from my past, to flow with the movement of things but not allowing them to change who I am, so I can use every single thing to find a better place 🙂

To go with the flow then, with the wind or with the water moving in a river type thing. Yes, I see it. I am fine, thank you for asking.

What does true compassion mean to you?
I have also dreamt about having a small farm, away from the city (I’m from NYC). Being in nature helps me develop a sense of belonging, a sense of being, and a sense of peace. Perhaps one day you’ll turn your farm into a retreat and I can come visit haha.

Thank you for your message.
For me there are not enough words to describe true compassion, it’s too deep to describe it with words. The main idea I have now about compassion is that it’s about not harming others and not harming yourself. Helping others without getting harmed or sacrificed in the process. Fulfill yourself and discover your truth so you can find authentic peace and share it with the world around you.You can visit me whenever you want, I’ll be waiting.
Regards from Costa Rica;
Dave
