Dear Girija:

Thank you for doing what I asked, to type away whatever came to your mind that was honest. I will not argue with what you wrote. I will not try to convince you that the world is different because … it is true, there is a whole lot of aggression, a whole lot of indifference in the world, in every country, every city, every neighborhood and inside lots and lots of homes.

I am guilty myself of having been aggressive, in the past. And I too was indifferent to a lot of people’s suffering, sometimes finding pleasure in it, as in: they deserve it!
