Dear isabelle:
“in the real world some country just destroyed the virus with a treatment protocol. Take a look to how South Korea deal with it..”- if any country found a way to destroy the virus, they wouldn’t hide their finding because they would make lots and lots and lots of money, more than imaginable, if they sold their way of destroying the virus.
You mentioned earlier that rich people are able to afford chloroquine and therefore they survive Covid-19, unlike people who can’t afford the drug- my point: now matter how rich individuals are, those who allegedly destroyed the virus will get way, way, way.. way more money if they shared their way of destroying the virus with the world.
Besides, anti-viral drugs do not destroy viruses, all they do is ease the symptoms. As an example, there are excellent anti viral drugs for herpes, a viral disease, but none of them destroy the herpes virus. All they do is ease the symptoms and make the outbreaks shorter than otherwise.
In summary: I believe that the rich have many advantages, among which is a lower mortality rates, because they can afford the best health care. And I very well know that lots of people are unethical, selfish and indifferent to the suffering of others. But chloroquine is not the secret cure that only the rich can afford. If there was a cure, it would be sold for billions of dollars paid by hundreds of countries, not for way less by individuals.
