Hello everyone,
lately i have been feeling very self conscious about the way I look I’m not sure how to deal with it and has been getting me very upset, it’s like I can’t walk around town without feeling some one is looking at me.
March 9, 2018 at 8:37 am #196521AnonymousGuestDear Mathhew:
I can’t see you. I can only read what you type. Does that make you feel comfortable?
If so, tell me more, more about feelings self conscious and how were you anxious before lately, before focusing on how you look?

March 9, 2018 at 8:58 am #196525MatthewParticipantare we able to post pictures, so you know what I look like? Well when I look in the mirror I feel disgusted about the way I look all the time
March 9, 2018 at 9:12 am #196529AnonymousGuestDear Matthew:
You can post a picture to replace the Buddha face above your name, but if you do, I do not intend to comment on your photo. Didn’t you already ask people what they think of the way you look and no matter what they said, it didn’t help?

What is ugly? Do we feel our thoughts? Become our thoughts? How does our consciousness become fixated on a thought that only exists because we are fixated on it. It makes no sense… yet I fully relate we feel what we feel and there is a time for everything.
When you look in the mirror, what do you see? Do you see the real you, or what you have been conditioned to believe is you? The two are so, so different. One is an infinite consciousness capable of being and creating whatever it chooses, the other is an illusion imprisoned by its own perceived and programmed limitations. – David Icke
What the mirror can’t show you is who you really are; a devoted parent, sibling, a hilarious friend, an adventurous soul. Sometimes when we get overly caught up in appearances it becomes IMPOSSIBLE to be present in our lives. And then we miss things, big things, little things, … everything. – Marla Chicky

March 9, 2018 at 9:44 am #196553MatthewParticipantWhen I look in the mirror I see a Broken man, and I started feeling like this a couple of weeks ago, I was watching Tom Holland in Spider-Man homecoming, and all my friends who are girls say oh wow he’s so good looking, and made me feel down.
March 9, 2018 at 10:39 am #196579PeterParticipantTom Holland was a illusion on the screen and you were with friends… Who would I rather be in that situation… you
That said something that has nothing to do with your looks or who your friends find ‘good looking’ is bothering you. If you dig deeper what does your authentic self want from you but that you are resisting.
March 9, 2018 at 10:56 am #196585AnonymousGuestDear Matthew:
Tell me more about the “Broken man” you see in the mirror, more than the two or three line posts you typed so far. I would like to know more.

I don’t see anything wrong in your display pic. It is not your looks but your thoughts about your looks that is causing the problem.
