Thanks for your kind words Malley. The word ‘soultie’ seems very apt. It does hurt a lot. But I guess I did the right thing. Please do see the message I’ve posted above to know more about my feelings presently.

Dear Jojo:

You are lonely and afraid. You mentioned a potential partner, a future partner, fearing separation from that future partner. That future relationship will be different than the one with the woman this thread is about.

For one, your future partner will not be married to another man. This is a very important point, do not underestimate it: your future girlfriend/ partner will not be in a relationship with another man.
