    Hi anita

    There is some truth in what  you said. But I dont know  what that really supposed to mean. Is it just a personality/emotional analysis or other?

    Dear Emy:

    “Is it just a personality/ emotional analysis”- yes, it is my best analysis/ my best guess,  given the very little information you provided about yourself and your situation.

    You provided no information at all about your past or present life circumstances (your approximate age; your family life, in any; relationships, if any; career, if any, etc.), nor did you share about your goals for the future. So, yes, what I posted to you earlier is my best understanding based on the very limited information that you provided and my life experience.

    As I wrote to you in my first post, I don’t believe in past lives. I will add here: I don’t believe in psychics and I don’t believe that there is a spiritual-twin-flame-5D type mission in regard to the artist’s (a man you do not know irl) high school first love. I don’t have input in regard to what I don’t believe to exist.

    Thanks for your replies and it was very interesting, I enjoyed.  But as you said, you don’t believe about all that  but I do. Thank you anyway for sharing you opinions and thoughts.

    Emy,

    Your post caught my attention while looking for something totally different.  I joined Tiny Buddha to reply to you because of the synchronicity of the chain of events.

    I don’t “believe” in multiple lives, I have memories of them.  I can affirm that there is a lot more going on behind the scenes in the life we live in day to day earth.  Sorting out what is actual vs what is just imagination is very difficult within social media.  I’ll address your questions and the dialog the precedes.

    First question to answer would be about me.  Why should you take my word for anything?  The answer to that question is DON’T.  You have to decide for yourself from your own inner guidance, however you personally define it.  What I can say is that my personal experience is somewhat similar to yours from the other side of the aisle.  I met my twin flame 7 years ago in circumstances somewhat similar to yours.  I now live with that person.  I also have a lifelong (74 years old) interest and aptitude for things non physical, so I can relate to past lives and psychics.  I also have a background in Tibetan Buddhism, which embraces rebirth and psychic activities.  I will be addressing you question from that perspective.

    Your question is specifically, “what is the goal”.  By asking that question, I took it as permission to do a simple Tarot reading.  (I have been using Tarot as a focusing tool for over 30 years.)  What I received was a very powerful reading.

    There are 5 cards (steps) in answering your question.

    The reading begins with the definition of question.  It shows you have a definite tension between where you are now in life and what you have invested in it stacked up against having to let go of it to move forward with the life you CAN have.

    The second shows that the situation is one of reaching for your goals in a very focused and forthright manner that has lead you to your specific question of what is the goal in this specific situation.  You have the ability to move decisively if you can understand what exactly is being asked of you.

    The third defines what brought up this question at this time.  From the background given, you superconscious self has presented you with the situation because you are done with what has happened in the past and has dropped you new situation in your lap.  Finding a new path is always exciting as well as daunting.  I am an amateur artist and can attest to the most daunting time is looking at a blank canvas before any paint has been applied.  You already have paint on the new canvas.  There is Buddhist saying:  Better not to begin, once begun, better to finish.

    The forth defines where your personal world is with this.  The Wheel of Fortune showed up.  For better or worse, you are on the roller coaster and will ride it until it stops.  There are no exit points once the roller coaster gets to the top of the first uphill climb.  After you are over the top of the first hill, you must ride until the end.

    The fifth and last defines where to from here.  The Chariot is a marvelous card.  It is what happens when the roller coaster goes over that first hill and starts down.  That is the reason we ride roller coasters, the reason we chose to live a human life.  Everyone gets to the end of the ride, even those who never get on because they are afraid to get on.  This is your goal, to ride the ride of life.  Your goal is not to watch other people ride the ride of life. Your higher self is inviting you with the ride of your life.  Not the ride of someone else’s life.  Spend as much time as you need in introspection, but when your turn to ride comes up,  as the song says when you have the choice to sit it out or dance “I hope you dance”.

    Hi,

    @Teak
    , Sorry I didn’t see your post. No, I’m connected to the  past of this person who had that relationship and was a teen in that life and I can get some information about that. I don’t know him in the real life, that happened when I  sent some comments about his artwork on his social media account.

    @anonymous
    /Joseph, sorry, I didn’t receive notification. Thanks for reading tarots, it’s very kind of you.  The content of your post is interesting.  But it’s not so easy for me because for now.  Anyway,  there is a purpose. And If I’m wrong, I don’t care. I just want to know.

    Hi Emy,

    you say you’re looking for a goal for this phenomenon, and I think you’re right: it would make sense to understand the purpose and what this entire situation is trying to tell you.

    You said about yourself:

    I’m easily overwhelmed with emotions and it’s not good for me.  I am emotionally compromised by nature.

    Would you care to elaborate a little bit on that? Perhaps you’re what it’s called a highly sensitive person and can easily sense other people’s energy, and sometimes it overwhelms you?

    Exactly.

    Yes. I think I’m highly sensitive and I can easily sense other people’s energy and it overwhelms  me indeed.   And  his energy   totally overwhelms me.

    Right. Have you done some research on highly sensitive people? There is one theory according to which high sensitivity (to other people’s energy and moods) develops as a result of circumstances in which the child grows up. For example, if the child grows up with an unpredictable parent, who can sometimes be abusive, they develop an ability to perceive the parent’s mood so they can adapt their behavior and protect themselves from trouble. It’s almost like a defense mechanism – developing “sensors” for trouble.

    I don’t know if this is similar to your experience? In any case, I believe it would help to lower that sensitivity by strengthening your boundaries… how are you with boundaries? Can you say No to people?

    Hi Teak,

    No, this is not similar to my experience, luckily. Yes, I can say no to people. I think that maybe I’m receptive to energies , good or bad.

    Hi Emy,

    good to hear you didn’t have such an experience. When did you start sensing other people’s energy so intensely?

    You asked what the goal is of this experience. Well, considering that you’re highly sensitive energy-wise and that it overwhelms you – not just with this man, but in general – I believe the goal might be to reduce that sensitivity, since it affects you badly. How do you feel about reducing your sensitivity, so that you can function normally? Would you want that or it would feel like a loss?

    In 2018  when it started with this man. Before I could sense but not so intensely.

    I already tried  and my emotions was dammed up. Then I felt like  I couldn’t breath. But I try to work on myself. Sometimes it works. I don’t think it would feel like a loss.

    How did you try to be less sensitive? What method did you use?

    I don’t think it would feel like a loss.

    Good, because then there’s a greater chance that you can succeed in reducing your sensitivity, i.e. protecting yourself from unwanted influences.

    The Buddha never expounded upon reicarnation. Just that any thing made of aggregates will fall apart in time to their basic components. Meaning is a person’s personality is not real and will cease to exist when the body ceases to live. The essence of a person is much like when a child creates a splash of ocean water. Each drop flies in its own trajectory. Some live longer than others. Some join other drops and some pass thru. Eventually, all return to the ocean. Another splash, another lifetime. However love appears, to me, to be a real force with its own set of rules. Creating turbulance and keeping a galaxy of its own. So, what is the goal of these experiences?  For the person to have these experiences, to find the truth about themselves. Not so much as what past lives were about. More about your present situation, you life now. If Buddha points to the moon with his finger then do you look at the finger? Or do you look at the moon?

    * Dear Tommy:

    I wanted to let you know that I have been helped by your replies to other members, the one right above (thinking of myself, and of others as drops of ocean water splash, a drop with a trajectory. It helped me to read what you wrote in a previous reply regarding letting go of wants and desires, and n another reply, about the need to go to a new place, so to put a stop to habits that were taken hold in the old place.

    Thank you and have a Happy New Year!
