My answer: first, pay attention to your behavior as you experience intense rage. Do not automatically react to the rage. Do nothing for a while except maybe take a long walk, do some exercise, listen to relaxing music, and such.
When you calm down some, then think what to do, if anything about the situation that distresses you.
If you are in a situation where you are mistreated, and that is why you feel rage, then the situation needs to be resolved in such a way that you will no longer be mistreated; resolved in such a way that you don’t end up in jail and no one gets physically hurt.
