I purchased some lavendar oil from the local hippie shop. It really has a calming effect and helped me sleep soundly last night. I just put a small amount on my pillow and practiced deep breathing.
Yesterday I was experiencing some anxiety during the day as my thoughts of my ex were spinning in my head. I put some oil on a tissue and breathed it in…it definitely helped calm me down.
There are plenty of articles online about the calming effects of lavendar…look into it if you feel inclined. It might help
