    Im 22 I have 2 sisters one is 20 the other is 16 and they are always doing things together. Im left out of everything. I try my best to get along with my 16 year old sister, when i make plans she makes excuses, when I sit with her and talk she pretends im not there or replies in a dry way. She only comes and talks to me when she wants to borrow something or else she would ignore my existence. It hurts me alot that they are extremely close together and never include me in anything or think of me and never want to hang out. I have never done anything so bad to hurt them ive always been proctective and loving because our mom doesnt live with us so I help as much as i can.

    Hi Reina,

    What will probably happen is ONE DAY your middle sister will get herself in a big, grown-up situation where she simply cannot talk about it with the baby sister. YOU will be the one she runs to if a guy dumps her, gets her pregnant or is bad to her. YOU will be the one she runs to when she has trouble in a job, can’t hack the university, or has a health scare. Then you will bond by trauma, like soldiers do.

    Also, you shouldn’t care what a high schooler or a university aged student thinks or is doing. They are simply not ready to join you in the grown up world yet. Let them have fun together. That easy time will change soon enough, as we know.
