Sunday was indeed partly a FunDay! The recent few years of increasing frequency and size of wildfires here on the West Coast is a result of escalating climate change: because of rising temperatures and droughts, trees and other vegetation become very dry and easily catch on fire. You are on the East coast where climate-change related increasing frequency and size of hurricanes take place: anything like that in your area?
Fires every year here, on and off, during the summer and Fall. I’ve never been in a hurricane and you never experienced wild fires.. I wish we never experienced either!
Yes, wildfires and hurricanes are dangerous.. and droughts and floodings. Here, it is another day of smoky air. It hurts people’s lungs. I hear it’s going to rain in a few days, that will put out the ongoing fires.
I am touched that you cared to watch some videos on the wildfires on the West Coast! It makes me feel good that you did, thank you. I will let you know the moment the air is no longer smoky: looking forward to it!
I said I’ll let you know when the air is no longer smoky and the day has come: the air is no longer smoky here after raining all day yesterday! How are you today?
It’s good to know that in some places on the face of the earth nothing is burning outside a burned meal. The Shabat (Saturday in certain religions) is the day of rest where people don’t do anything other than rest.
