I have been missing a friend who moved away several months ago, we have not been in contact since, I don’t think we will ever end up in contact and I don’t think I should be the one to initiate it. Some days I want to move on and others I struggle not writing him a text, or thinking of some way that we would start talking again. Nothing negative happened between us, he simply moved, and moved on with his life and I didn’t.

How does one move on and stop missing someone, should I even move on?

    Hi twobirds,

I simple question? Move on to where?

Missing someone means you have love for them, not necessarily romantic but genuine love. That is beautiful in itself! Allow it to be there without it being a burden, by accepting your feelings. Once accepted, missing someone becomes a warm and open feeling, and creates a space.

    I hope that helps

    Dear twobirds:

Your last question was: “should I even move on?”

What is your other option, if not to move on then what will it be?
