    Dear Tiny Buddha community,

Today, I thought I would share with you the name of a book that had a strong impact in my life when I started on my journey towards self-acceptance, self-love and authenticity.

This book is ‘The Gifts of Imperfection’ by Brene Brown who is a researcher on the topic of ‘Shame’ and ‘Shame resilience’.

The message of this book is strong, it is to let go of who we think we’re supposed to be and embrace who we are. Letting go of the pressures we are putting upon ourselves to always be fine, right or perfect.

Life-changing for learning how to let go and accept that imperfections make us who we are, beautifully.

    Enjoy the reading.

    Dear Sidney:

Thank you for sharing this book. I googled quotes from it- here is one that I like very much: ““Authenticity is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s about the choice to show up and be real. The choice to be honest. The choice to let our true selves be seen.”

Without imperfections, we would remain unconscious of ourselves.
