Your current problem. What is it? Cheating boyfriend? Can’t find a girlfriend? No job or looking for a better one?
Unhappy marriage? Not enough money? Dealing with difficult people? Feel like a failure? Don’t feel good enough if you compare yourself to others? Depression? Anxiety? The list goes on.
I find my current problem, (not being able to find a decent job) is just my current problem. Once I get a job, I’ll find something else to complain about. Difficult colleagues for instance. But isn’t it interesting. The mind plays tricks. It convinces you, that if you solve your current problem, then all will be well, happily ever after. Not so.
Living is a problem. While ever we breathe we will have to survive. even we are rich we still will feel unfulfilled. Try convincing the poor of that, though.

    Dear Jack:

Excellent observation, says I. Exactly. This is why I say: all I have is this evening, this Tues evening (here) and maybe tomorrow morning. this is all I have and all I will ever have. I do not wish for things to be different. I am relaxing into my life as is. Anxious today, and relaxing into today as well. Being okay with what is the best I can. Nothing is too small, my time here typing this is not a small thing, and I do not prefer to do something else. Dreams of past are gone, the happily ever after of anything anywhere… are all gone and what is left is this evening right now and here, and maybe, tomorrow morning.

Overweight Aussie cracks me up. Jaundiced, I will have to look that up. When you run out of adjectives starting with J to fit Jack you come up with adjectives to fit Aussie. Brilliant B(Jack)

Beautiful post, Jack and loved these lines “Anxious today, and relaxing into today as well.”, Anita.
