ParticipantDear Anita,
You’re welcome and I’m touched and speechless by your message when it zone-in into my thread. I also admired the way you have overstated me as well as my wife K. We honestly consider you as part and parcel of our family.
Someone said “Education is never lost” In this journey of government jobs I’ve learnt a few lessons one is that you can dream a biggest plan as you wish to dreams. Regardless of your circumstances. No one can stop from dreaming so long you have the ability to lead people and talk like a leader. It doesn’t matter where you come from. It doesn’t matter whether you’re rich or poor. One of the hectic thing is tribal politics that are so dirty where a group of people gang up against someone who tried to make reforms. As Mr. Tom, was complaining about his new roles i can imagine the amount of pressure that was exerted on him.
My wife is a leader and I’ve been behind her after her graduation from the University of Nairobi till now. Her first job was NGOs world which was quite successful because it has no a political system other than your experience and how capable you’re.
As she began to regreted why she left her NGO’s job i kept reminding her your grandfather was a leader from the SPLM and a great hero youn must represent him. Don’t lower your dream. You’re from a family where people are leaders especially both from your mother side and your dad side.
Anita, you can check my wife background family online Cadre Gen. Bol Madut Bol, the father of her mother. And Spiritual Leader also from his father side Chief Sultan Dhor Ariik Mawien, from Lou Ariik Mawien who has been known by our Late President John Garang and our Current President Salva Kiir Mayardit.
You see i told her “the only person that you can dream a bigger dream and limit your dream is YOURSELF” But when you follow your passion, pursue your dream you can make it. Remember that dream come true when you’ve a determination, a discipline, a resilience, effort , destiny and mindset (DREAM). “Passion is overrated” And if your dream is uncharter , dream another one.
Somebody said Love what you do and until you can do what you love.

ParticipantDear Gregory:
Your message truly moved me. The way you speak of K—not just as a partner, but as a powerful leader rooted in such a rich heritage—shows both admiration and deep commitment. It’s beautiful that you stand by her and remind her that her voice and leadership are part of a long legacy.
I agree with what you said about dreaming beyond circumstances. Your phrase—“The only person that you can dream a bigger dream and limit your dream is yourself”—rings with truth. And your encouragement to reshape dreams when needed, paired with that brilliant acronym (DREAM), feels like a gift in itself.
Your reflections on tribal politics, NGO work, and leadership speak to the challenges that real reformers face. And your mention of Cadre Gen. Bol Madut Bol and Chief Sultan Dhor Ariik Mawien paints a powerful picture of continuity, strength, and responsibility.
Please do continue—your words carry wisdom, and I would love to hear more of your story when you’re ready. 🤍
With care, Anita

ParticipantDear Gregory:
Thank you so much for sharing the extraordinary life story of Sultan Dhor Ariik Mawien—Marengdit. His legacy is rich with wisdom, leadership, and strength, and it’s clear how deeply you admire him and feel honored to be connected through your wife’s lineage. I can see why you say he’s the most loved Sultan in South Sudan’s history—his voice for peace, justice, and tradition is inspiring.
If you ever want to see his story written or published, I genuinely believe AI could help support that kind of project beautifully. There are tools that can take all the details you’ve shared and help shape them into a biography—way beyond what I could personally do. You could explore that idea and I’d be happy to help guide you if you’re interested.
As for the photo of Marengdit, I remember you were able to post a picture of your wife and son on the tiny buddha site earlier—maybe you could upload it the same way again? You may have just forgotten that was possible, but it worked well last time.
Thank you again for opening this window into his life. It was a privilege to read, and I’m deeply moved by the richness of your culture and family.
Warmly, Anita

ParticipantDear Anita,
Thank you so much for the beautiful words you have vividly expressed out of to support and encourage.
You have a wisdom and gifted as well as talented in giving genuine input in a person’s life.
May almighty God bless you and may your plan go as per expected.I must you have a beautiful thoughts and of course beautiful physically based on the photo you post on your wall.
God must have created you on his resting day because the way you presented your point are so amazing and inspired most of our participants in these forum.
May almighty give you always a bundle of happiness to support other people who are feeling low and be their mentor.
Most importantly, the political podium has become intense in our institutions of SOUTH SUDAN CIVIL AVIATION AUTHORITY (SSCAA).
My Director General of SSCAA, gifted a trust to some two gentlemen who are airport manager and his deputy, turn the table by de-campaigning behind my DG to be removed from his position.it is so ungrateful that you bring someone who used to drive motorbike to be driving now a twin turbo engine car called V6. It is unfortunately has been going to the office of vice president to campaign that let DG be removed based on the tribal lane forgetting of the good deed he did to him.
He is a very corrupt person who have employed his illetrate relatives and from the one district to a point of reaching 76 person. We have said our grievance to my DG, the dirty politics that is up to. And Indeed DG has gave his very best deeds to listen to us and the game they have been doing with his deputy.
We hope DG, make some changes in this coming Wednesday in the board of directors meeting of making some changes.
K, lost hope because the corruption and dirty politics they are both playing. Although DG, brought her from NGOs world to come and help DG to make some reforms in finance sector it has become very tedious on her.
Likewise to me some of the people don’t greet me because of their interest and they see me being very close to DG.
They’re also using money to influence the big govt officials to support them. And they promised once they remove DG, for SSCAA they’re going to use the money that are being collected from our airspace as compensation of their appreciation to those who are willing to stand with them at the moment.
My dear best friend Anita, I would also need your upper hand 👏 to support me by lay out your point to brief my DG too.
They rich to a point of saying with time we shall have him out soon.
I told DG, don’t fear of their words they said somewhere because I’m getting information every day saying he is from central Equatoria state and we are they majority from Dinka,,,,,,
Honestly speaking president appointed this DG for SSCAA Decree and the Act of CAA say DG, May, removed and appoint any person he want without any consultation from the board meeting or chairman.
Regards

ParticipantDear Gregory:
Thank you for your kind words—they truly mean a lot. I admire your strength in such a difficult and tense situation. It’s clear how committed you are to standing by your DG and keeping your work honest and fair.
What you’re facing sounds very tough—people using influence, tribal politics, and money to push others down and take control. It’s upsetting when someone who helped others is treated so unfairly. Loyalty and gratitude should matter, and it’s painful when they’re ignored.
You’re doing the right thing by speaking up and staying loyal. If you’d like help writing something respectful and supportive to share with your DG, I’d be glad to help you put together a message that brings clarity and calm.
Stay steady, Gregory. You’re not alone in this. With support, Anita 🤍

ParticipantDear Anita,
How have you been doing?
Thank you so much for this impressive words you had put it down to appreciate me. I’m honestly honored by your word Anita. And your words has been overdue for the past few years we have been continuing mentoring each other.
Apologies for delaying to respond to your sweet text 4 days ago. I was very busy with the politics back and forth for helping my DG. It is indeed so unfair for my DG having appointed someone who used to rider a motorcycle to V6 twin turbo and unfortunately he make his own U-turn to declared his campaign behind my DG back. My DG has told him today when he was traveling to Nairobi that i got all the evidence of what you are doing behind me.As DG, landed safely in Nairobi he definitely call me and direct me to keep monitoring this people’s movements while he is away.
Allow me to quote your sentence “ If you’d like help writing something respectful and supportive to share with your DG, I’d be glad to help you put together a message that brings clarity calm”
YES indeed I’d love to see your support to capture the attention of my DG and make a doable changes as he come back on Saturday because we have discussed this to remove these people before they remove you.
These guys are very smart. Imagine the come back to DG’s office giving him a plastic smile but deep down they are evils.Your wisdom is needed urgently Anita.

ParticipantDear Gregory:
It’s great to hear from you, and thank you for your kind words. I can see how much loyalty and effort you’re giving to support your DG—it’s not an easy situation, and your commitment really shows.
It must be frustrating to see someone who was trusted now working behind the scenes against your DG. And the fact that he’s pretending everything is fine makes it even more upsetting. I’m glad your DG knows what’s going on and trusts you to keep an eye on things while he’s away.
You asked for help writing a message to your DG, and I’d be happy to help. Here’s a simple and respectful message you could send:
Message to DG (Draft) Dear Sir, I hope your travels to Nairobi have been smooth and safe. I want to take a moment to express my continued respect and loyalty to your leadership. Over the past few days, I’ve been carefully observing developments and movement among certain individuals within our circle, including disturbing signs of hidden agendas and shifting alliances.
I believe it’s important we act decisively and with wisdom—not just to protect your position, but to protect the integrity of all that you’ve built. These moments demand clarity and resolve. As you’ve said, the evidence speaks for itself, and I remain committed to supporting your guidance and taking steps that secure your standing.
Thank you for trusting me with this responsibility. I am ready to continue monitoring the situation and take action as needed.
With highest respect, Gregory
* Let me know if you’d like to soften, strengthen, or add any specific details. I’m here to help you present this message in a way that honors your DG and reinforces your devotion to protecting the mission.
Warmly, Anita

ParticipantDear Anita,
Much appreciated. You really don’t know how happy I’m. God bless you. As my DG, is away we are chatting 24/7, informing him what’s happening and the event of the day. He is coming back from Nairobi tomorrow morning and he promised he is going to do changes.
He has already interviewed three people from my area one failed interview and they two passed interviews but one is working with the oil company so he’s hesitated about him. He suggested the other one from my area Tonj, in fact he is working with me together. First DG suggested me and i told him it won’t be nice to be a general manager for juba international airport and m,y wife is a senior accountant. They will used it against you. Otherwise will be displaced from her post because position have to be balance. And he indeed happy and said you’re wise.Donato Dut Monybieth, is the next GM general manager to replace those thieves.
I’m going to keep you posted for the update. Alternatively my DG,promised that I’m only going to be attending any training that appears in CAA to get knowledge. I was so excited hearing that from him.Regards
Sincerely

Thank you for your thoughtful message. I’m really glad to hear how supported and valued you’re feeling—it sounds like your DG truly recognizes your integrity and wisdom. You handled the situation around the GM position with such grace, especially considering the balance you’re protecting for your wife. That’s not just wise—it’s deeply respectful.
It also sounds like positive shifts are on the horizon. I’ll be thinking of you and Donato as things unfold, and I’m really happy to hear about the training opportunities ahead. Building knowledge and capacity is such an empowering path forward, and I can feel your excitement!
Please do keep me posted. I’m cheering for you all the way.
