@Michelle thanks for your post, she’s not homeless and you maybe right about her being embarrassed. Okay fine she doesn’t want me to know her place, but why can’t we hang out like we do or visit me often…, is she also embarrassed about seeing me too? And your right about my constant asking, it sometimes annoy her, but its only normal for me to know where my bestie lives. I mean Its kinda odd when my Mum or anyone asks n I just dodge the question, cos am unable to answer.

    Dear deejacy2:

If she wants to spend time with you, has a home, but wouldn’t tell you where it is, that means she doesn’t want you to visit her. In that case ask Why? And expect an honest answer.

But as far as the young woman who was your friend, your “Bestie,” she is no longer your friend or your Bestie. I know that because she said “Never”- she said so. When a person says “No” or “Never” to contact with you, you have to respect it and let go, have no contact with her.

As hurtful as it is for you, you can’t force a friendship to start or to continue. When a person says NO, you respect that and not chase and apply pressure. Just as when you say NO to someone else, the other person should respect your NO and not pressure you.

    Take good care of you:

The way she says the “Never” like she’s joking, but it looks serious, cos she always says it. @Anita you right, will never ask her again, but the thing is seeing her updates on bbm makes me sad, and my friend adviced I shouldnt delete her, so I don’t get the feeling of resentment.

    Dear deejacy2:

I understand your distress, I believe. I spent lots and lots… and lots of my life being distressed. And for nothing, no good coming out of it. So minimize your distress, delete or not delete her from (social media), whatever will reduce your distress. Glad you have another friend, the one who gave you advice. And do post here anytime.

I still Mods my friend but not like before, I just see images of her flashing through my head. Why do i Still think about her or imagine that we will meet and have fun soon?

    Dear Eddy:

You got attached to her. You have to let her go, slowly, over time. Learn what you can from what was wrong and what went wrong in that relationship and make a new, improved friendship in the future, with someone else. Best to you.
