Hello! My name is Maxine Winn, and I have been offered an opportunity to fulfill my dream by teaching healing meditation practices to cancer patients in Sydney, Australia. Through this practice, I will be working alongside the acclaimed practitioner, Dr. Ian Rafter, to couple Eastern and Western healing methods to those who wish to conquer their fight with cancer.

I have started this fund to raise money for my relocation expenses, as I will be relying on the kindness and donations of others. My work will be on a voluntary basis, so that there is no additional cost to the patients.

I recently completed a 10 day Vipassana Meditation Retreat (vaddhana.dhamma.org) in Joshua Tree, California. I was approached by Dr. Rafter during my travels to the seminar, where he offered me this unique opportunity to make a contribution to those suffering.
