    What do you look for in a vacation… luxurious city experiences, beach bum relaxation, outdoor expeditions, or cultural immersion?

    My boyfriend and I were just talking about this recently! I definitely lean toward relaxing vacations–lounging poolside or on a beach, getting a massage, eating at a buffet, and then seeing a show. Occasionally I’ll throw something like a hike or tubing into the mix. Then I also enjoy traveling–so going to a new destination with the intention of exploring, immersing myself in a new culture, and being a little more engaged in my surroundings. What about you?

    I agree, all of the above! Sometimes relaxation with as little effort in planning as possible is what I’m looking for, and other times it’s traveling to see new places/do new things (which involves far more planning, in my experience!). It depends on what’s been going on in my life, as well as who I’m traveling with. Always love getting out of town though…

    I look for cultural immersion, a different language to broaden my linguistic ability and preferably a beach. Somewhere that’s not too lively but still has a nightlife of sorts. Oh, and of course beautiful scenery that really puts everything into perspective and heightens my gratitude to be here. 🙂
