How are your kids handling this situation?  I guess my only concerned with your current situation is how the kids see your relationship and you dating other men.  I am also divorced so I understand the hardship or having to move out and be sole provider in my household.

Is there any way you can move in with a family member till you can save up money and get on your feet?

I think you should give her space… you both are still so young and believe me I remember being young and in love!  It hurt like no other when we broke up, but it also gave me time to be with my friends and do the things I wanted to do!

I would tell you to keep the happy memories you have and continue on with life!  You are in college… and she’s in high school it’s a big difference. Let her explore what she “needs” and you do the same!  Go out and be with your college friends and do all the things college students do!

I know it’s a constant thought on your mind I’m sure wondering what she’s doing or who she’s with and so on, but you have to get out there and distract yourself.. maybe join a club or a sport team!

I have deleted my facebook.. I still have instagram and snapchat, but nothing else!  And honestly I don’t miss facebook AT ALL… I had over 800 “friends” and one day realized… I don’t need this extra drama in my life.. the people who over share and put their dirty laundry out there.. no thanks!

I hate going out and going to restaurant and seeing looking at their phones instead of having a face to face conversation!

Did something happen to make you question your feelings?

My anxiety makes me feel imprisoned in my own head! I’m in therapy and we talk about positive thinking but I find that hard to do!

I’ve had anxiety for as long as I could remember!!  I internalize a lot of things and that’s when my mind gets going!  The smallest things can set me off!

I agree with Anita I would just tell him!  It’s very unfair to you that this rumor is going around, but I think it would actually take a lot of stress off you if you tell him!  And as Anita said just say it causally if you act worked up then he might sense some doubt!  I think we have all been the center of a rumor in some shape and form and it’s not fun!

It was a GREAT relationship… very little arguments or disagreements!

Yes Paula, I’m trying to put in my mind that it’s completely over so I don’t have a hope that we are getting back together!  I need to mourn the loss of that relationship!

I’m currently in the same situation!  I would do anything for a second chance!
