Ane KrstevskaParticipant
It’s the meds, believe me. The anti-depressives have this, how can I say – stupid formula to make you be tired all the time and not up to anything. Again, this comes from my experience. I felt the same and then when I talked to my psychiatrist and another friend of mine who I must say helped me a lot by just talking to me like I am talking to you – facts from experience (he also had a very difficult time in his life with depression) they all told me that it is the meds. So once you know that this feeling is coming from the meds, create a picture in your head that this is the meds – not my real feelings. It’s the mindset again. I know it’s challenging, and I know it sounds like a cliche probably, but trust me this works:
When you wake up in the morning, take a shower, have your breakfast and along with your coffee/tea, sit down, take a piece of paper and write down all these tasks you need to do to get back to normal (e.g. sell the house). If it’s difficult to see it, ask yourself and start thinking why it ‘s hard (price too high maybe?) By brainstorming, your brain focuses on other things rather than feeling down and wanting to kill yourself.
Not everything is easy, and most of the things will take some time. But eventually, everything will get back to normal. It just takes time.
I was fired without reason from the job I loved after ten years of hard, dedicated and loyal work. I am still under therapy and still figuring out my life moving forward. One thing I started to do a month ago is starting a blog on self-improvement and productivity. Real life lessons. I found piece in what I start doing, and it gives me freedom to express. By doing that, I focused my brain on other things, better things. It’s all a mindset. You know how they say thoughts become a reality? Well, they are right…when the brain is obsessed with negativity and negative thoughts, it is when shit happen. But if you can push yourself, kinda like an exercise to have positive thoughts in your head – imagine. Just visualize yourself a year from now in the life situation that you want to be…
Ane KrstevskaParticipantOk, you described the feeling. It’s exacly what I had. Exactly the same. I wasn’t taking showers for days. I disconnected from the whole world and wanted to just close my eyes and finish my story on this planet. But what is the event that happened that made you feel this way? There has to be something. Was it a trauma? What is it? Why do you feel this way?
Ane KrstevskaParticipantHey you! Stop it! There is hope for everyone in this life. You wrote here, on this blog, having hope. Why would you write if you didn’t have any? So you have. So stop saying those words and stop feeling that way.You can change your life by changing your original records, or better said your story You probably have the picture for you in your head, how does it look? Are you the hero who is triumphing proudly with raised head? Or you are just “poor little me”?
First of all, tell me, what’s causing you not to want to live anymore?
Second, please know that I’ve been on that road, so I KNOW the feeling.
Third, sorry if there are any grammatical errors, I type fast, and I am not a native English speaker, but can help you through this.
Now answer my first question – what’s causing this feeling?
Ane KrstevskaParticipantLife is too short to get stuck in fear and doubts, why not be happy? From this uncertainty, we fall in fear and doubt mode which is a bad cycle and last forever. Just imagine the greatest stories of all time, how they would sound if the heroes inside were with little self-confidence and self-doubt?
Never allow yourself to fail because of abandoning your story. Never allow your fear to push you away from your life path. You can change those habits of getting stuck in self-doubt and anxious thinking cycles only if you stay loyal to your story.
But how you can change your life if your story works against you? Very simple! Change your damn story, create a better one. Become the hero of your lifetime, sing this famous song every day. Be proud of it and always be pushing forward. One of my blogs talks about this in more details: http://www.selfdevelopshop.com/you-can-change-your-life-by-changing-your-main-story/
Ane KrstevskaParticipantYou just have to close your eyes for 5 seconds, and ask yourself: Are you thrilled about your job? Are you waking up excited about getting to work? Are you happy doing whatever it is that you do? If the answer is negative, then it is no lie that the time has come for you to get serious and change your career.
We all have times when we get frustrated with our jobs, but will things improve if you choose to change your career? Think about this.
And maybe you have reached a point in your working life when you need a change, and desperately need a new challenge. If this is the case, then you should do something about it. Don’t just do what it seems to be the right thing to do at the moment, or do whatever other expect from you. Take some time and figure it out on your own.
To help you decide whether you should change your career or not, we want to share three frameworks with you. These frames will give you clarity over the big decisions and help you make the right choice. I recently blogged about this: http://www.selfdevelopshop.com/how-to-decide-to-change-your-career/
Ane KrstevskaParticipantHere’s another helpful guidance: http://www.selfdevelopshop.com/meditation-techniques-for-beginners-secrets-pros-18-easy-steps/
Ane KrstevskaParticipantCreate the story of change, imagine yourself as a hero and start going forward, never backward. When it will seem like the story is fading, sense the change. Bring back the triumphant feeling you got when you’ve first created. Does it feel good? Never allow yourself to fail because of abandoning your story. Never allow your fear to push you away from your life path. You can change those habits of getting stuck in self-doubt and anxious thinking cycles only if you stay loyal to your story.
But how you can change your life if your story works against you?Very simple! Change your damn story, create a better one. Become the hero of your lifetime, sing this triumphal song every day. Be proud of it and always be pushing forward. Never forget to remember that the physical world that is surrounding us is not the real limitation. If you don’t know a skill you can always learn it and master it.
The only limitation is your belief system. You can change your life by adopting a strong belief system in your story. Accept it with all your heart and being.
Life is too short to get stuck in fear and doubts, why not be happy? We are all gifted in our own ways, dig a little deeper in you, read some good books and find your unique purpose on Earth. When you’ll find what you really are and what you really want to be, you can easily create your lifetime scenario according to your hero story. Don’t ever listen to the others, they might quit on their story and are living somebody else’s life but you, you are the hero and you can change your life for good.
Try to feel the moment, this moment, just fell from inside and block all of the distraction, even your story, feel the power of love you are carrying with you, feel the heart pumping… Feel the everlasting energy in you. You’ll notice how everything vanishes, fear, doubt, everything.
You can, and should use this power within you for good things, things that you are passionate about. You are the writer of your story, composer of your song. Use the energy and the love you are caring to write the best story and compose the best song for you.
