Joanna, one thing you must know is that even though positive thinking sometimes attracts positive experiences, it doesn’t mean that you won’t have negative experiences if you are a positive thinker. Many forces besides your thinking affect whatever you experience, and that’s why we invented the word ‘fate’. your positive thinking cannot stop an insect from biting you and neither can it stop a lion from attacking you…But it can help you persevere hardships because it gives you hope..therefore, continue being positive and GO WITH FLOW..Accept whatever happens and try to deal with it in a positive mindset…and also know that some people will always treat you the way you don’t want because everybody lives in his or her personal dream…therefore, my advice to you is JUST BE TOUGH, KEEP STANDING, embrace whatever life throws at you, and stop interacting with these folks that treat you badly…and sorry for the loss of your family…you have gone through a lot and you’re tough,,,so continue being tough

Isaac WechuliParticipantInner peace refers to a state of mind where external circumstances do not affect you..a person with inner peace is good with whatever happens in his/her life. For me, im almost attaining inner peace but it took time. . i learned that the best way to attain inner peace is to not view the present moment as a problem that has to overcome..Instead just accept the present moment as it is and know that it is paving way for something greater,….also another way to earn inner peace is to realize that Life/divine intelligence is always working on your favour, therefore, go with the flow by not resisting what happens. also you can attain inner peace by having confidence that nothing, whether good or bad can harm you…if you have confidence in uaself you dont worry about the future, and you always believe that you can overcome anything, and you therefore attain inner peace because inner peace occurs when you are nott affected by whatever that happens

Isaac WechuliParticipantI always had anxiety and the best way i dealt with it is believing that there is a Higher Intelligence which has control over life and that it ensures that everything that happens happens for the good
Isaac WechuliParticipantFirst and foremost Hannah, you have self esteem issues. You don’t believe that you are worthy. When promoted you think its because you are the only option. Reclaim your dignity and people will respect the gal in you. Stop stress eating because it aint gonna help, you will just add more problems in your life. And on the part of your parents, don’t stress yourself gal because you have tried your best to prove them and they still don’t appreciate you. My parents also hated me because i never go to church despite the fact that they are religiously Catholic. Sometimes its better to go your own way so long as it makes you happy. There is nothing bad with not doing what your parents expect you to do. But your main problem Hannah is self-esteem. I feel you gal. I also had self esteem issues because i am short and people thought i am ugly. However, i turned this around by upgrading my closet, working hard on my health and dreams, and suddenly i reclaimed my dignity because people started respecting me. You are good Hannah, you are blessed. Stop adding yourself with unnecessary stress.. If your dad does not love you, then leave him alone. he seems to be a bad dad.and if your mum dint approve you dont let this haunt you. She’s not God, she does not have to approve you….and please start believing that you are worthy and reclaim your dignity…I read the article below on reclaiming dignity and it really uplifted me..many people also agreed that it uplifted them. https://www.unboundedwisdom.com/must-reclaim-dignity/

Isaac WechuliParticipant*It doesn’t matter what choice you make, revel in the choice, line up with it completely, and give yourself into it completely – Abraham Hicks.
The main reason why we always worry while making a decision is that we think that something might go wrong if we choose the wrong decision. We forget the fact that the universe/ the Creator will always offer many paths to our goals regardless of the decision we make. We fail to realize that there is value in every decision we make. For example, there is value in not getting married, and there is also value in getting married. The only thing we have to do is believe in our decision and make it right.
Always trust your heart when making a decision, and always know that there is no wrong decision, and if it appears wrong, the universe will always provide many other opportunities for you
For more, Check the link below….i had a dilemma on whether i should be employed or not and this led me to carry out a research on the answers of motivational and spiritual gurus and summarized the research..it was helpful to many people trust me.
Isaac WechuliParticipantI also had an anxiety problem but i ended it through realizing that there is a Higher Loving, Intelligent, Power which is in control of my future. Sorry because i love using Christianity as my reference book because it is the main religious book that i always read. However, i a not a religious person…
Anyway, i believe the Intelligent power created us for a good purpose and its always guiding us to that purpose. Therefore, i ended y anxiety by realizing that the higher power ensures that everything always works for the good. Romans 8:28 -Everyrthing happens for the good for those who love God, those who live according to his purpose.
I tried using the breathing techniques, living in the now and other mechanical practices to end my anxiety but i failed. I realized that the best way is to trust in the Universe, life, or the higher power. WE haveno control of the future but we can cast our worries to something that created the present, past, and the future. You cant worry if you know that God is control..Psalms 55:22 – Cast Your Cares on the lord and he will sustain you: he will never let his people be shaken
