I’m the oldest regular member in the forums (signed in on May 2015). I deleted my account and didn’t post for 6 months sometime along the way, so..

I’ve been posting here every day for a net of 10 years and 8 months, and visiting the forums every day for the whole 11 years and 3 months.

You mentioned serious mental health challenges. I was the recipient of quite a few mental health diagnoses, maybe half a dozen, maybe more. A few no longer apply, and healing is ongoing.

I hope that you stay active here in the forums and experience more and more healing, one day at a time.. one tiny buddha day at a time 🙂

    Hi ScottyDye:

Just wanted to say that I was pleased to see that you posted today, on Annie’s thread (2.5 months since you posted on the forums), welcome back!

It’s also nice to see your photo, it gives me a ScottyDye visual 🙂

Oh, I didn’t even notice your dog in the background. Can’t see clearly. I see a black tail..? How’s Gunner?

Gunner is Gunner that’s all I can say. He’s an extremely good dog, almost too good. But he has his weird ways lol, but he’s very loyal and loving.

Loyalty and loving.. and trustworthy, isn”t he? Like my Bogart the Beagle.

Absolutely. I love Gunner alot. Its gonna be a sad day when he’s gone. Omg, that’s awesome… Bogart the Beagle lol. I bet he sniffs around like crazy. We’re lucky cause we have a spot kinda out in the country with property and Gunner goes where he wants and is friends with all the neighbors. They give him treats =]. Lately he hasn’t been roaming solitary though… he always comes back in time and knows his way home, no matter where he finds himself.

We live in country setting too, off private roads, outside the city limits. But I don’t let him roam around on his own (coyotes, bears and mountain lions around).

He has a playdate with the neighbors 2 beagles every day (have a beeping, training collar on him) and almost every day we go to the dog park downtown.

I wish I could download his photo on my own. (I’m technically challenged..

Ahh ok yeah. Luckily the only predators we have are foxes and coyotes, but coyotes aren’t around much. Just hear them howling at night sometimes. If they are around during the day they aren’t seen. I tried taking Gunner to the dog park in town but he has no intentions on playing with other dogs or even hangout with them. He literally gets face to face with them, gives them a dead stare straight into their eyes and goes off to do his own thing lol. He’s more of a loner type I’ve seen, but my neighbors dogs do roam over every now and then and he says hi.
