I have no idea why this is happening, he has done nothing to provoke this over the month and a half that we have been dating, yet the moment I get close to him I just feel angered.

The only instance where I feel this is justified is when he was tapping his pen on a day where every last one of my senses were kicking into maximum overdrive, but now I just feel like I’m going into sensory overload the moment I get close to him.

I don’t know how to simply describe what’s causing these feelings, but, it’s as if I’m walking into Bath and Body works and everyone is spraying the samples at once.  I’m unsure if he uses any products, but I would feel horrible about asking him to leave whatever he’s using to rot on a shelf.

As I am typing this, he is right next to me and I’m struggling to keep myself calm. Responses are appreciated.

    Hi Meko,

This might be your very being telling you that this is not the person for you long term. It’s only been a month and a half and he already annoys you to the point of anger. Not a good sign. Remember, you don’t have to understand WHY something’s off to break up with someone. Don’t let anyone debate you into why they should be your boyfriend. Off is off.

    Best,

    Inky

I agree with Inky 100%.  Sometimes we just don’t mesh well with people “energetically,” and things just feel off. We should not date those people…. especially if you’re feeling this way after only a month and a half. You should technically still be in the “deliriously happy, everything they do is perfect” phase.

On the other hand… I feel like it needs to be asked…. do you only experience this with him or is it with a lot of other people, too?
