i I dont know how to feel about this new revelation and needing supports.   I only have a father who is 85 and a self centered brother.  I feel so sad and depressed and angry all in one about my family.   I have done so much for everyone and now i am needing help and feel so … what to do?  I am 50 but have been busy doing for everyone and sad for feeling helpless.

    Hi Lisa,

I understand your feelings of sadness, depression, and anger. I hope you are able to focus on your health and all that is positive about your situation. The survival rate after a liver transplant is quite good and most patients go on to have normal lives. Were you given an estimate as to how long you’ll have to wait for a donor?

    Dear Lisa:

You are on a liver transplant list, this is not easy, I have no doubt.

I wonder what  kind of help do you wish you had  from your brother, and the family members that you did so much for, why aren’t they in your life?
