I don’t know what to do career wise . The school bus idea came from wanting to be able to work around my sons schedule but now After thinking about it I don’t want that responsibility of other people children . I’m raising my own child . My past jobs cannot support a family .

I saw a school bus the other day on my walk driving close to me, and I thought about you: it looks like such a huge vehicle to drive and operate, so big, so powerful. I would be scared to drive it.
Your past jobs cannot support a family of two (you and your son), even with all possible governmental help for single mothers, such as subsidizing rent (you mentioned that earlier)?
(I will soon be away from the computer for a few hours).

With housing assistance I pay half of my rent but utilities, food, car insurance, and all other things we need are my responsibility. In the future I want to be able to take him out to do activities we stay in the house besides school and work . I was looking at my local community college website I might have to get certified with a new skill but I’m not sure yet what it’s going to be . I will eventually have it all together but this time I want to do things the right way .

You already have it all together- and in the right way- as far as where your mind and heart are. All it takes is to put what’s in your mind and heart into practice, one step at a time, one day at a time. Did I mention you are my hero…?!

You are welcome and thank you for you being.. you! Good to read from you, even if it’s only a sentence or two. Worth repeating: “One step, One goal, One good decision at a time”!

I enjoy feeling proud of myself. Like I’m making progress. I’m tired of being a struggling single mom . I have a idea on how I can earn the security deposit to move . UBER . Along with my current job . Only if my application is approved by Uber .

Uber sounds easier to do than driving a huge school bus, this is an excellent idea! You enjoy feeling proud of yourself and I enjoy feeling proud of you: for making progress, for coming up with new ideas, for giving your life meaning beyond mere struggle!

I passed the application process but I don’t have a car of my own , Uber works with a company that will rent you a car to work for them ,I tried to rent a car but I failed the credit score check . My plan now is 9-5 jobs that I can work from home or the office . Something is going to work out for me .

One plan didn’t work out, so you are sticking to another plan; positively and optimistically stating that something is going to work out for you: what an inspiration you are, an inspiration for me to follow your lead toward emotional resourcefulness and optimism. I bet anyone reading your thread and your words in your recent post will be INSPIRED!
