    Prayer to Green Tara

    Om! Homage to you, lady who protects us from the right fears!

    Homage to you, lady who blazes with the splendour of auspiciousness!

    Homage to you, lady who closes the door to lower rebirth!

    Homage to you, lady who leads us on the path to higher realms!

    You are the one who always holds us in your care – our guide, support and friend;

    So protect us still, we pray, with all your vast compassion!

    Oops that’s eight fears. Darn autocorrect.

    Hi Roberta

    Thank you for sharing as well! It is nice to see you around again, you were missed. 😊

    Thank you for the prayer Alessa.

    Here is a prayer-poem for you, for me, for everyone:

    Whispers of Peace:

    In the hush of the heart, a calm is found,
    Where echoes of conflict make no sound.
    A gentle hand, an open mind,
    Peace with others, and peace aligned.

    Let words be bridges, not walls that bind,
    And sow the seeds of love, unconfined.
    For in each soul, a light can gleam,
    Peaceful together, peaceful apart.

    “I used to believe that prayer changes things, but now I know that prayer changes us, and we change things” – Mother Teresa

    “Prayer is sitting in the silence until it silences us, choosing gratitude until we are grateful, and praising G_d until we ourselves are an act of praise.” – Richard Rohr

    “You cannot have youth and the knowledge of it at the same time;
    For youth is too busy living to know, and knowledge is too busy seeking itself to live.
    You may sit at your window watching the passersby.
    And watching you may see a nun walking toward your right hand, and a prostitute toward your left hand.
    And you may say in your innocence, “How noble is the one and how ignoble is the other.”
    But should you close your eyes and listen awhile you would hear a voice whispering in the ether,
    “One seeks me in prayer, and the other in pain. And in the spirit of each there is a bower for my spirit.” Gibran

    Hi Anita and Peter

    I’m okay thanks. Just been busy and a bit tired.

    How are you?

    Thank you both for the thoughts and quotes about prayers! 🙏
