DeniseParticipantI’m practicing being my own best friend from now on; i’ve been far too hard on myself over the years.
I now choose to focus on things I love about myself and there are many things: my persistence, my smile, my silly side to name a few…What I would love to know is what do YOU love about yourself? 🙂

flyingsoulParticipanthello,
being your own best friend idea is quite fascinating,i also always too hard on myself i tried to being nice but end up with making thing worst. But there is something most love about myself,i never give up; i lose many time but i start again every time without feeling bad.May 30, 2013 at 8:23 am #36267
JeffParticipantI think many of us judge ourselves far more harshly than anyone else does. I certainly plead guilty to that!
What do I love about myself? Six months ago, I would have said nothing. But now- I’m intelligent, articulate, and I’m funny. I also think I’m a pretty fair writer (though I haven’t done much lately except make journal entries).

mariaParticipantI love that I am not giving up on myself and that I am trying to get to know “me” again. I love that I was able to quit some very bad habits and that I am now investing in my health not only physically but emotionally as well. I love that I can live another day and start nourishing my spirit and my soul.

Debra.Zen.55ParticipantI love that I am warm-welcoming to others and that I am working on showing the same kindness to myself. I’ve had to dig deep to find
my personal strengths and am happy to say that I am making progress. At least I am back on the path and out of the forest!June 5, 2013 at 12:29 pm #36496
Meghan Yule-RosenParticipantI laugh in my sleep. It’s weird and it’s me and I know that when I wake myself laughing that I’m truly happy.
