    I want to exercise daily for these reasons:

    1)I want το have an attractive body. I don’t want to feel uncomfortable or shy..

    2) I want to do sth good for myself.It’s my responsibility to be healthy (body&mind)

    3) I am insecure and lazy and I TRULY want to fight these feelings and attitudes.

    HOW can I do it without skipping,escaping,giving up?

    I say all of that because I’ve tried to do it but obviously wasn’t succesfull.

    I have a past behind me with diets and stuff but i’m tired of all these and i don’t want to lose weight anymore,I want to be healthy and exercise daily.I know what I want.

    The best motivator in my experience is a class that you’ve already paid for. You *have* to go!

    Better yet, a class where a great looking person is there! Nothing like a crush to self-motivate! 😉

    Or, walking buddies!

    Or, signing up for a Tri, Walkathon, or Marathon ~ that you have to get in shape for!

    Or, a personal trainer who will kick you butt harder if you skip a class!

    Basically, outside commitments involving $$ and other people should do the trick.

    I know whats it like to feel like you want to give up on something you are doing , but you need to remember that this something that you are doing is so you can become the best version of yourself and be the best kind of you there is. Every time you feel like giving up and not doing something , tell yourself that if you dont start now , then you will never start. Remember that you are doing this so you can become a beautiful , strong confident you! Which is something we all need to be . Try to listen to music that motivates you and keeps you excited and going, keep track of your accomplishments and the days you DO do something good for yourself dont let those days go to waste and appreciate yourself everyday you do do something. You could also reward yourself every time you exercise everyday for a week , or for so many days continuously. Also like Inky said you could pay for it and remind yourself that you HAVE to go because you did pay for it! Always keep an image of yourself and what you WOULD be like if you did exercise daily , remember everyday and every action counts!

    Is there someone you could ‘report’ to daily? Having that person keep you accountable might help. I guess it’s similar to having a buddy as @inky suggested.

    And how about setting it up so that if you skip a day (as long as it’s not because of illness etc), you have to do something you really wouldn’t like to do: singing in front of a group of people, dancing in the middle of a busy supermarket; anything you would rather avoid. Maybe eat fish eyes!

    IF you really don’t want to do that thing come the end of the week, just keep up with your daily exercise. Of course, you could always lie but then that would be on your conscience and you know you would be cheating no-one but yourself.

    I think it’s something that I should do now..i don’t want to delay it anymore.
    somewhere i read ”if I can’t do it now, when should i do that? ”

    Buddies!!! i found the key to exercising!!!!!!! Im full of positive energy!!! I am thankful i found a website
    and a person who truly helped me through this website.We didn’t communicate but i read his special articles about motivation!!

    Is in there –>”Life is meant to be enjoyed. Sure, I agree with this statement (as many of us would) but the problem is this is used to justify all kinds of crappy behavior. Might as well scarf down those Doritos and Twinkies, because hey, life is meant to be enjoyed, right? No. You can do without junk food and still enjoy life. You can exercise and enjoy it. You can give up pretty much anything and still enjoy life, if you learn to see almost any activity as enjoyable.”

    This thing changed my thoughts,I’m happy, i run a few kilometres in these two days,and I discovered from this that what i do is good for myself! Maybe one day i will stop complaining about everything!

    I love Zen Habits, thank you for linking it popi!

    My dad bought his book on simplifying your life.

    He helps you simplify your life down to practically nothing, to the point where you (purposefully!) don’t have any goals (!) You eventually find your main purpose and then ~ do that.

    But he is pretty serious when it comes to health, diet and exercise.

    But I would like to ask sth else,if you don’t mind!
    30 minutes are enough in a daily basis for a beginner?
    I mean almost run, 5.0km/h or 6.
    with an exercise machine.

    Hi popi,

    Yes 30 minutes a day is good if you are running, and alternating other days with some strength training and yoga. You will benefit from various challenges, accomplishments and rewards.

    You are right about food. I ate more than my share of Doritos years ago. Now I eat more than my share of spinach salad, blueberries and salmon – to name a few of my favorites.

    Thank you @Big Blue.

    And what will be the benefits from this? (running 30minutes each day)
    I am already seeing results in the psychological part.
    But what will happen in the body?

    About weight loss, strength, physical fitness, taut muscles?

    Anyone who has experience in daily running/jogging? combined with healthy balanced diets,of course.
    I’m not interested so much for the body results, I have already have mental balance,i’m feeling good 🙂

    Hi Popi,

    One benefit is improved fitness. Another is just being in the experience. I ran regularly when I was younger. After a few miles I would get into a good rhythm. Then some runner’s high. This was running outside.

    Recently, I have done spin biking inside. This is fun in a group and a great workout.

    Take advantage of the experience itself. Lose your other thoughts. This has benefits.

    Hi big blue.
    I took a decision for my life.
    Staying away from things that dont make me feel happy.
    But i cant say that i won this.
