8 Reasons to Buy the Tiny Wisdom eBook Series (Available Now!)

Since Tiny Buddha launched in 2009, I’ve written hundreds of “Tiny Wisdom” blog posts. In the beginning, I kept these short and peripheral.

Over time, I started putting more of myself into them and giving them a lot more love and attention. Suddenly, these posts became far more popular than I ever thought they’d be.

They aren’t lengthy how-to posts with lists of action steps. They’re short reflections on the little things that make a huge difference in our daily lives. They’re reminders of what matters and how to embrace it, right now, instead of focusing on all the things that only bring us down.

They’re concise. They’re focused. Most importantly, they’re relevant to the challenges we all face every day.

In recent months, I’ve received countless emails from readers asking me to compile some of these posts into an eBook—so I decided to do something even better.

I created 5 short eBooks with posts on the following topics:

  • Self-Love
  • Happiness
  • Mindfulness
  • Love
  • Pain

These eBooks are all available today, individually or as a complete package. On it’s own, each eBook costs $4.97. The full package of five costs $19.97—which essentially means you get one free if you buy the whole series.

8 Reasons to Buy the Tiny Wisdom eBook Series

1. I’ve hand-selected the best posts in each category (based on shares and reader feedback) and compiled them into anthologies based on common themes.

Currently, all of the Tiny Wisdom posts are part of one category on the blog—meaning there is no option to search for them by topic. This provides you with an easy way to access to the most useful posts on a given subject.

2. Each eBook touches upon issues relevant to everyday life.

There’s something for everyone in every eBook, with posts related to forgiveness, self-acceptance, gratitude, mindfulness, vulnerability, strength, healing, and more.

3. I’ve shared myself candidly in my writing.

If you’ve read a Tiny Wisdom post before, you’ve likely noticed that I draw heavily from my own experiences. While many of the topics aren’t new, I believe I’ve presented fresh perspectives on them by sharing how I’ve struggled, and what I’ve learned and continue to learn.

4. Each eBook comes with three files: a PDF, a MOBI file, and an ePub file so you can read these on a number of reader devices.

Whether you have a Kindle, an iPad, a laptop, or any other cool gadget I don’t know about, you can read the Tiny Wisdom series with ease.

5. The eBooks are beautifully designed by the site’s designer, Joshua Denney.

Joshua of Think Web Strategy has consistently done amazing work, creating a tranquil feel for the site and all related material.

6. Each eBook contains 20 striking Buddha photos.

I’ve received countless emails from readers noting how much they enjoy the Buddha photos from the Tiny Wisdom posts. In buying the series, you’ll have 100 beautiful Buddha images, altogether, should you wish to meditate on them at any point in time.

7. The eBooks are affordable—and you can buy them individually, if you don’t feel drawn to the entire series.

I aimed to price these reasonably. I personally would never spend $27 or $47 for one eBook. I’m a frugal shopper—and I priced these with people like me in mind.

Also, I created five separate eBooks (around 50 pages each), as opposed to one long one, so that you could pick and choose if there are some topics that are less relevant to you than others.

8. Buying the Tiny Wisdom eBook series supports me, and my work on the site.

If you’ve enjoyed the content over the past few years and want to support the site’s growth, this is a great way to do that!

~Jodi Chapman, Soul Speak (

Tiny Buddha’s new eBook series is a keeper! With volumes on self-love, happiness, mindfulness, love, and pain, Lori Deschene shares openly and generously from her life. You’ll feel the empathy that comes through in Lori’s writing… it’s almost like having a friend in the room with you letting you know, “It’s going to be okay, I know that feeling too, and here are some things that helped me.” Highly recommended.

~Maia Duerr, Liberated Life Project (

Whether you need a quick pick me up or want to dive in to do some deeper personal development work I would recommend Lori’s amazing books to anyone. I considered myself a studied person on happiness and I found quite a few nuggets of wisdom that I will apply to my life. Lori you’ve outdone yourself and packed these books with valuable insights. Thank you.

I am not  fluent using the web.
I ordered all the books and thought I was ordering them in book form
Is an e-book just a download on the computor?

If these don’t come in book form please cancel my order as I am unable to sit long on the computor and read material.

    thank you

  • Hi Kenna Mae,
I just responded to your email and refunded your order. Thanks!Lori

  • I think you need to poach iTunes! 🙂

  • Hi Lori! I pre ordered your book Tiny Buddha, Simple Wisdom for Life’s Hard Questions when it first came out and really enjoyed it! My question is: Are these 5 books similar to that book or completely different? Thanks!

  • Edwarj

hi Lori! amazing idea-thank you! are the ebooks delivered by email or can you get them sent to a kindle?

  • Thanks so much! The eBooks come through email. Do you have a PC? I know there’s an app called Send to Kindle for PC. (I don’t actually own a Kindle, so I had to do a little research!)

  • I’m glad you enjoyed it Juan! These eBooks are very different, in that each of these is a short collection of short blog posts (20 posts in each, to be exact). You can get a feel for the type of posts by clicking on the “Tiny Wisdom” blog category (the top one). I took 20 posts related to each of 5 topics to create those, so they’re not as lengthy as my print book.

  • Lori, do you plan to publish these in paper/book form at some time?

While I do use an eReader for much of my reading, I still prefer my self-help books in solid form. I enjoy the process of letting a book drop open to exactly the right page for what I need at the moment. I know, I could modernize this process for eBooking, like maybe just thinking of a page number to open up to, but….. well…. These books sound like wonderful bedside/coffee-table/throne-room books! I’d love to buy them in hard copy form!!

  • Hi Kate!

These ones I was only planning to publish as eBooks, since they’re short collections of blog posts (less than 50 pages each). I also love reading physical books! I am working on a new print book for next fall, as I so enjoyed the process the first time.

I will look into perhaps combining the whole series into one print book. =)

    I hope you’re doing well!

  • Awwww, a set of little books would be so much cuter, handier for placing at various quick-read stations throughout a living space, easily approachable by topic, etc etc. I know nothing about publishing books; maybe it’s way more expensive and/or complicated to put out 5 smaller ones than one big one. I’m just thinking selfishly from my own personal self-help book-reading preferences. Don’t mind me, I’m not pushing at you about this, just dreaming. It’s so easy to sit here and plan other people’s process for them, LOL.

Yes, I’m doing very well; thanks for commenting. I’m having a summer lazy spurt, so you and everybody else online are not hearing as much from me. But as they say in a certain TV show and book series, Winter Is Coming!

  • I see what you mean. That would be cute! It is a little more complicated to self-publish print books that eBooks, but I will look into it nonetheless!

I’m glad you’re enjoying the summer. A lazy spurt sounds lovely. =)

  • Thanks for the info. Pretty interesting for
    me!!!! That’s what I need.
