    Dear Wisdom:

Thank you. It was a difficult walk, six miles and two hours. I saw a herd of elks. It is eerie the way they all stand there, not moving and looking at me as I look back at them. Nobody moves. They stand, thirty of them, in different angles to me but all heads looking at me… and nobody moves. But walking was difficult, I wasn’t energetic. Good to have made it anyway.

oh no! elks are pretty harmless for the most part right? as long as you are safe anita, that’s all that matters 🙂

Thank you, Wisdom! I wasn’t afraid of the elks. They are big but none was too close to me and they are scared of people. They are dangerous though in one way- when they cross the highway. The car that hits an elk, bad news for the driver and passenger, a death sentence from what I understand. But no worries, I was not driving. You are sweet, Wisdom, for being concerned.

Early bed time for me. It is 11 pm your time, all the way in New York. Till the morrow:

    Dear Wisdom:

Good job! I am so glad you are following through with the daily assignment, I am!

I was wondering earlier, I didn’t ask you about the club in school that you were nominated for as VP, what club is it and what will your duties be?

i actually have no idea what i do as vp as of yet, but i’m sure i’ll know by the next meeting. this past one was pretty hectic, people trying to figure out who’s gonna do what. i honestly think i wanna back out of the position though. i want to stay in at the same time cause i feel like i was put into that position for a reason.

    Dear Wisdom:

Don’t back out of the position before you know what the position is about, and you will know next Tuesday, right? If next Tuesday, after you learn what the position is about, if you want to consider it then, tell the others that you will be thinking about it and get back to them in X number of days to let them know if you take it or reject it.

Why do you want to back out of it? You were all excited about it before! Your head was spinning almost.??

no i wasn’t excited, i was really apprehensive though. all the people kind of just threw me into the position because no one else wanted to do it. i don’t think they’d be too happy with how i handle it though. i’m way too shy and if things don’t get done they’ll probably be annoyed or mad but that’s pretty much on them lmao! either way i’m gonna consider it once i know what i have to do though, just to kind of stick it out.

    Dear Wisdom:

This position can be an opportunity for you to practice being assertive and speaking in front of people, doing what you feel too shy to do..? I think it can be an excellent opportunity! It may beat waiting. I am glad you are going to attend the meeting and consider to stick it out! It doesn’t matter that others didn’t want the position… it can still be a good opportunity!

    Dear Wisdom:

These are worthy goal: to learn and get over your fears! Excellent goals! Very slow on tiny buddha this evening. Bed time, I suppose. Take care, Wisdom. Do you daydream by the way, when you go to bed and trying to sleep? I used to play stories in my head, of being courageous, saving people, being a hero. I used to. As scared as i was, I dreamed about incredible acts of courage and being recognized for those acts.

Now I take small acts of courage in real life. No such thing as too small of an act of courage..

Will read your reply, I hope you reply… tomorrow. Always good to get your posts!

i do daydream anita, A LOT! haha! i almost get caught up daydreaming literally all day. i think it could be a good thing if your thinking good, but bad if you’re worrying. i think this topic here can be a good one to talk about.

i also wanted to ask you about intuition. if you knew anything about it more extensively than the same ol. like intuition vs. fear. how can we distinguish fear from the reality of our situations.

    Dear Wisdom:

We do have a whole lot in common: lots of daydreaming (used to do for very, very long…and all day too!), fantasizing about fame and worldwide attention and recognition! And so much more. When you wrote that you think this topic here can be a good one to talk about, you meant daydreaming? Please do, if so. Do share about what you daydream about!

About intuition, you mean “gut feeling”- I believe that there is a message in each and every emotion that we experience. This is how we can know what is going on in our lives, what is happening with us and what to do next.

Only maybe most people don’t look for the real message behind an emotion and rush to do the first and most available thing so to get rid of it, if it in an unpleasant feeling. So people (and I have too, of course) rush to get rid of most emotions before listening to the message. So I believe in intuition as emotions having valid messages, all emotions though, not just a select few!
