I’m needing some inspiration. Can someone share some miraculous stories with me?September 22, 2019 at 9:57 am #313573
Would you like to define “miracle” for me, your own definition of it?
anitaSeptember 22, 2019 at 11:35 am #313585
thanks for asking.
a surprising and welcome event that is not explicable by natural or scientific laws and is therefore considered to be the work of a divine agency.
Or a pleasant event that occurred that can be explained by science but it’s occurrence was unlikely but somehow beat all odds.
Idk I guess I just wanted to hear positive stories, break through stories.September 22, 2019 at 12:11 pm #313599
I will be back to your thread (great topic, by the way!) when I am back in a couple of hours. I hope other members answer you as well.

I don’t have a miracle story for you (I don’t believe in miracles according to the two definitions you provided), but I am glad you allowed for “positive stories, break through stories” as well, because it allows me to scan through my memory bank.. I have a few thrilling temporary positive, break through stories, such as when I left my country of origin on my own to London and then to the U.S.A, for the first time. I suppose I thought at the time that my life was going to be a miracle. But after a couple of months of an awakening of joy and an exhilarating sense of freedom, I was back to the same-old-same-old life experience.
So to the positive, break through story- it is my story of healing and learning since 2011 when I attended my first quality psychotherapy and all the way to this very day. Four years and four months of this daily story are recorded right here on tiny buddha. I wish I had a shorter, fun story that can fit one post.
I wonder what kind of miracle, or positive, break through story you wish to have, at this time in your life.

Hi Anita ,
thanks for your response. That’s really brave of you to travel from London to the US like that. I’m glad that you’ve had positive experiences in psychotherapy. Thank you for your story!
I started therapy myself back in college around my 2nd year, so 7 years ago and have been in therapy up until 2 months ago. I decided to try out a male therapist so will get one going in a month or so.
I generally have an interest in psychology and self development. I work in the field.
My recent break through, not really a miracle but something I’m proud of this week is that I earned my security. So there are four attachment styles. Secure, anxious, avoidant & disorganized. I have successfully over time moved from disorganized, to avoidant to anxious to now secure. After hard work , Im now have a secure attachment style. My job did a workshop and tested us. I even took a few other versions of the test to confirm. It’s a breakthrough for me because my past relationships have been really challenging and tumultuous. I was very codependent & because I couldn’t get my relationships right I was failing in other areas in my life. Now that I’ve earned a secure attachment style I am more balanced. I am better at communication & setting boundaries . Saying no when I need to. Patience & interdependence. It’s a huge victory considering I grew up without the presence of either of my parents. So I’m happy .September 23, 2019 at 7:27 am #313731
Some time ago I adopted a guiding angel .. I named him Marshall and talked to him every day … However, I was never sure if it was just me playing a game with myself .. then one day I asked “him” for a sign.
When I arrived at work tyhat same morning, I was cleaning out my spam emails, and came across one which offered me an opportunity to expand my bandwidth at no cost …. and the spam sender’s name was ….
Marshall Luna …
I might not have picked up a strong impression on just seeing “Marshall” .. but my birthsign is Cancer, and my planet is .. the moon .. Luna …
Coincidence? Syncronicity? Miraculous? .. I dunno .. you tell me ….
BTW … I’ve never seen another spam mail from the same name, nor do I ever recall seeing it in the past … only once, on the day I aked for a sign.

You are welcome and thank you for saying I was brave flying from London to the U.S., but truth is.. I was even braver- I flew from my country of origin to London and from there to the U.S. London was a stop in between flights. But it was not bravery at all, really. It was my efforts then, at 24, to run away from my old life toward a new life. More precisely, I wanted to run away from my mother.
Congratulations for testing positive for the secure attachment style, for having your hard work pay off this way. Remember though that “changes are hard in general. Whether it be a positive or negative change. We are habitual beings. So I think psychological we try to keep changes from happening and it takes extra conscious effort and awareness to go through with it and stand strong in it” (your words!)
When you start a new romantic relationship, there will be challenges and so, some of this “extra conscious effort and awareness” will need to continue.
This is the first thread that you started and I am glad you did. I know very little about you from what you posted on other people’s threads, such as that you were bullied in school, which affected your “tolerance for people”, and seems to me what you tolerate the least is people who “pursue people then shut down or not communicate”. You referred to this behavior as being “Like you’re messing with real people with real hearts and feelings, the least you could do is communicate in turn”.
This has been the problem with the woman you refer to as your twin flame, or TF. You are clearly angry at her, or at times you are. You believe that twin flames although “rarely stay together romantically”, they can “turn into a soulmate”. But your TF did not turn into your soulmate. As a TF she has a role in your life even though she did not turn to a soulmate and that is that she made it possible for you to heal: “I’ve healed through mine”.
And the healing you are referring to is moving through the different insecure attachment styles to secure attachment style. Again- congratulations!

I believe in miracles. Some things are difficult to prove but every time someone receives a healing then a miracle has occurred. When I was a child I was kicked in the stomach by a horse. I had stood directly behind it and as I now know, a horse will lash out in those circumstances. The only people who knew were my oldest sister and a friend who I was with at the time. They asked if I was OK and that was it. Life continued as normal. Decades later when strange phenomena began happening to me, I was told that my injury should have killed me. The question was asked “How have you lived?” Some form of psychic healing then ensued with a statement that I should take six weeks off work and convalesce. My response was that I was OK and I was able to sit down at work. I can’t imagine what reaction I would have received if I’d asked for six weeks off to recover from a childhood injury.
Similarly, a few years ago, my eldest daughter underwent a fairly common medical procedure as a day patient but began to lose a lot of blood and the staff had difficulty stopping the flow. The surgeon involved later spoke to my daughter and said “I thought I’d lost you”. I strongly believe that divine intervention played a part in saving my daughter’s life that day.

Dear Grenada. I don’t know what miracle you are waiting for. But I sincerely wish it happens.
Miracles in our lives depend on what we believe miracles to be. We are alive in this moment, itself is a miracle. That you beat millions of sperms to get this life, that you are better than so many others who are suffering from something much more grave, is a miracle. We should be thankful for the miracles that happen to us in every moment.
Yet, I understand that sometimes we hit a wall from where no breakthrough seems to come. There are things in this world which science cannot have a solution for. For example- an incurable disease. And that’s why we turn to god. For god is nothing but the only source of hope when there is none. Miracles therefore are a thing of God. The life that you are living has been given to you by him and he is the only hope for miracle in the situation of an impasse.
There have been miracles in this world. This is the reason why they created this word, for there was no explanation for some things that happened. If you research a bit, there are saints in India who perform miracles. And that is beyond any magic that logic can explain. I have see one with my own eyes. Not that these guys are more powerful. All of us as humans have been bestowed with some potential we are unaware of. If we cleanse our conscience and submit to god/ connect with the universe, miracles happen. I myself have been experiencing synchronicity multiple times a day. I sincerely believe, anyone who goes deeper into spirituality has the power to do miracles.
I don’t know if this, what they call law of attraction, will work for everything in life. Because, at the end of the day, Karma is the supreme law at work. And therefore, sometimes, things just don’t work out the way we wish. I have a sister who has schizophrenia. There is no overcoming it in this life. I wish for a miracle, it doesn’t happen, but I still have a strong belief in it, even if it doesn’t happen in this case. So, miracles are nothing but breakthroughs we have in our Karmic accounts. All we can do is create the best Karma and pray to God, have faith in him. God bless.
