Ha ha.. ha, you are funny, Zenith 😆

Even I, the most uneducated person in the world (so I thought until this Wed evening) when it comes to technology, knows how to text.

    So, now I feel advanced.

    How about a letter then?

Instead of being anxious anticipating a future confrontation, it may be a better idea to confront her in a letter tomorrow!?

You’ll have to get a hold of those old fashion things- paper, envelop, stamp- on your own, but I can help you with the wording.

    She can read, right?

I don’t think she can read or write in English, although she understands it to some extent.

My parents’ generation was brought up very differently. Women were often confined to the four walls of their homes and weren’t encouraged or given the opportunity to receive a proper education. Men of that generation were often raised with patriarchal beliefs, which led many of them to be misogynistic and controlling.

lol I am using chatgpt to refine my english. I am sometimes insecure about my English as its not my native language.

I think thats the goal of ERP I guess. learning to sit with the uncertainty.

They are going to be here in the second week of November.

    Hey Zenith:

For crying out loud 😫- if she can’t text or read, maybe she’s not someone to be scared of confronting (in- person)? And maybe she’s someone to pity rather than confront?

By the way, my personal doctor (I saw her only a couple of times, and will see her tomorrow) is a muslim Indian younger woman, and she wears that head covering (I forgot the name of it?) that you said your grandmother wanted you to wear when you were in India.

She speaks English with an accent, and it’s difficult for me to understand at times, even though she speaks slowly.. What 2 do?

2nd week of Nov.. It may help if you visualize several likely scenarios and practice what to say to her and how to respond to her (like you say… she says.. you say..). Not as rumination, but as preparation of what to say and how to respond to her. And once you’re done preparing, you don’t revisit the topic..?
