Ok this is my cousin friend. Her guy picked her up yesterday to hang out. He had his son in-law in the car with him.Since he was already with him my cousin had to sit in the back seat. She was in the back bored so she told me she was texting me the whole time complaining. He was racing other luxury cars on a major highway. Also he was chasing a female telling the son in law to get her phone number. My cousin said she didn’t say anything because she felt he wanted a reaction from her. They both were trying get her info. She said she couldn’t believe he would do that while she was in the car with him.
She said that he leaned over and whispered something to the other guy. He also had the nerve to tell my cousin. Hey babe , you see that chic trying to give me some sex? She just laughed it off because she said the female wasn’t paying them no mind.He just got this Mercedes Benz.

What is great about this website is that we can post about anything and the community is very supportive of the poster and can weigh in with some good wisdom. In your previous post, you said that you are almost 50 years old. As someone of middle age, I am puzzled on your interest about your cousin friend around this particular situation. What do you plan to do with all the opinions you solicit here? Are you going to relay all of views to your cousin friend? I am curious and puzzled.

She asked me maybe my answers weren’t enough or wanted to compare other answers. Again why is this such a bother to you. Is this not a message board. Really!!! get over it and answer someone else’s question with an answer not a question like you did mine.

First, your reply to Mark was really quite rude. If you want help and/or opinions from people, it’s a good idea to not be rude to them.
To answer your question, though, her concern shouldn’t be so much about the car as it is about her guy’s behavior. If she is dating this guy and he’s actively trying to pick up other girls right in front of her, that’s a big sign for her to find a new guy, no matter what he drives. And yes, he probably sees the Benz as a status symbol of some sort (for him to show off), which I’m guessing is why he got it.

When men act like this they are going through a mid-life crisis. The fact that he was with your friend and was trying to get digits with his son-in-law (!) proves it. Why would he give his son-in-law basically a wink and a nod to cheat on his daughter??? That they do this OPENLY in front of the friend is so disrespectful.
I respectfully suggest she see other people, the kind who have Mercedes. BMWs aren’t all that. Not enough to pick up girls with. What is this, the eighties? No, wait, Beemers weren’t that cool even then.
Best,
Inky

I sense hostility from you to me. This feels hurtful. If that is your intention then please refrain from that here. I view this forum as a safe place. Thank you.

This message board is called a Forum and people post problems with which they need help. Sometimes questions need to be asked to establish what kind of help is appropriate for you.
This boyfriend with the car is childish, immature, disrespectful and a number of other adjectives which are not suitable for this Forum. Your friend that you are so concerned about wants to ask herself why she is interested in such an expletive. Is that all she deserves?
