My point is that from my impression based on how you have described your father is that he’s not likely to be able to handle a conversation like your husband wants without snapping again. If he does that, it’s likely to make the situation even worse by further upsetting your husband.

But I don’t know your father. So that’s why I was asking what you thought might happen. 🩵
