I read a great book called “The New Pyscho-Cybernetics” where author Maxwell Martz says something along the lines of Why do we always worry about the worst that could happen in seemingly “bad” situation? Why do we focus all our energy on it? … I loved that point, not because it’s saying to ignore the situation at hand. But its emphasizes the fact that 1) You are in control of how you think & act 2) Worrying really doesn’t make the situation any better now, does it? So focus your energy on what you can do to better the situation now. ..

Thanks for another great quote Lorie!

So true! I love the quote “Worrying pretends to be necessary but serves no useful purpose.” It can feel so productive, and yet it accomplishes absolutely nothing.
