Sometimes music is the only thing that takes your mind off everything else.

You can’t stop negative thoughts from popping into your head, but you can choose to stop letting them control you and your life.

You can’t change yesterday, but you can ruin today by worrying about tomorrow.

Every now and then it’s good to stop climbing and appreciate the view from right where you are.

Pause and remember: If you empty yourself of yesterday’s sorrows, you will have much more room for today’s joy.

Don’t let the sadness of your past and the fear of your future ruin the happiness of your present.

I guess the real fact of the matter is, we don’t know what tomorrow is going to bring and the only thing we really have is right now. So, don’t stay angry for too long and learn to forgive. Love your friends and family with all your heart. Have fun and live your life the way you want to live it. Most of all, don’t worry about people that don’t like you and enjoy the ones who do.

Breathe. You’re going to be okay. Breathe and remember that you’ve been in this place before. You’ve been this uncomfortable and anxious and scared, and you’ve survived. Breathe and know that you can survive this too. These feelings can’t break you. They’re painful and debilitating, but you can sit with them and eventually, they will pass. Maybe not immediately, but sometime soon, they are going to fade and when they do, you’ll look back at this moment and laugh for having doubted your resilience. I know it feels unbearable right now, but keep breathing, again and again. This will pass. I promise it will pass.

Don’t let yourself be controlled by three things: people, money, or past experiences.

Forgiveness is the choice to see people as they are now. When we’re mad at people, we’re angry because of something they said or did before this moment. By letting go of the past, we make room for miracles to replace our grievances.

A manifesto for a simple life: Eat less, move more. Buy less, make more. Stress less, laugh more. Feel blessed, love more. Find a quiet spot and breathe.

The trick is to enjoy your life. Don’t waste away your days, waiting for better ones ahead.

It’s okay to stop doing and just be.

Breathe in. Breathe out. Let it be.

Make the most of today. Don’t allow the troubles of yesterday to steal the gift of right now.

You will never be free until you free yourself from the prison of your own false thoughts.

Surrender to what is. Let go of what was. Have faith in what will be.

You only have control over three things in your life—the thoughts you think, the images you visualize, and the actions you take.

Much suffering, much unhappiness arises when you take each thought that comes into your head for the truth.

Breathe. Step back. Think. Then react.
