Some people and events are difficult to deal with, but they can only stress us if we let them. Breathe in calm, breathe out chaos, and anchor yourself in peace.

Don’t let people pull you into their storm. Pull them into your peace.

Ships don’t sink because of the water around them; ships sink because of the water that gets in them. Don’t let what’s happening around you get inside you and weigh you down.

Worrying does not take away tomorrow’s troubles. It takes away today’s peace.

It’s oversimplified to say, ‘Happiness is a choice.’ Some people are struggling with depression, anxiety, PTSD, and other conditions that make it challenging to find peace and joy. But ‘challenging’ doesn’t mean impossible. It’s more accurate to say, ‘Happiness takes lots of choices that are sometimes hard to make.’ Like: the choice to accept ourselves and our struggles, the choice to take responsibility for getting help, and the choice to do the things that are good for us, even when—especially when—we feel like giving up.

Peace is accepting today, releasing yesterday, and giving up the need to control tomorrow.

Be selective with your battles. Sometimes peace is better than being right.

At the end of the night, before you close your eyes, be content with what you’ve done and be proud of who you are.

The world would be a happier, more peaceful place if we all tried to understand instead of judging, paused before reacting, and gave each other the benefit of the doubt instead of assuming the worst.

To experience peace does not mean that your life is always blissful. It means that you are capable of tapping into a blissful state of mind amidst the normal chaos of a hectic life.

Forgiveness is not always easy. At times, it feels more painful than the wound we suffered, to forgive the one that inflicted it. And yet, there is no peace without forgiveness.

We can have peace if we let go of wanting to change the past and wanting to control the future.

This is my wish for you: peace of mind, prosperity through the year, happiness that multiplies, health for you and yours, fun around every corner, energy to chase your dreams, joy to fill your holidays!

Peace. It does not mean to be in a place where there is no noise, trouble or hard work. It means to be in the midst of these things and still be calm in your heart.

Ego says, ‘Once everything falls into place, I’ll feel peace.’ Spirit says, ‘Find your peace, and then everything will fall into place.’

You can’t calm the storm, so stop trying. What you can do is calm yourself. The storm will pass.

Peace is the result of retraining your mind to process life as it is, rather than as you think it should be.

Other people do not have to change for us to experience peace of mind.

Set peace of mind as your highest goal, and organize your life around it.

If we are to live together in peace, we must come to know each other better.
