True happiness comes from within, not from someone else.  Don’t make the mistake of waiting on someone or something to come along and make you happy.

It isn’t what you have or who you are or where you are or what you are doing that makes you happy or unhappy. It is what you think about it.

The word ‘happiness’ would lose its meaning if it were not balanced by sadness.

Today, give a stranger one of your smiles. It might be the only sunshine he sees all day.

In our lives, change is unavoidable, loss is unavoidable. In the adaptability and ease with which we experience change lies our happiness and freedom.

Happiness always looks small while you hold it in your hands, but let it go, and you learn at once how big and precious it is.

This is my wish for you: peace of mind, prosperity through the year, happiness that multiplies, health for you and yours, fun around every corner, energy to chase your dreams, joy to fill your holidays!

Happiness is letting go of what you think your life is supposed to look like and celebrating it for everything that it is.

My happiness grows in direct proportion to my acceptance, and in inverse proportion to my expectations.

You have a choice each and every single day. I choose to feel blessed. I choose to feel grateful. I choose to be excited. I choose to be thankful. I choose to be happy.

Don’t let the darkness from your past block the light of joy in your present. What happened is done. Stop giving time to things which no longer exist, when there is so much joy to be found here and now.

It is not happy people who are thankful. It is thankful people who are happy.

Children are happy because they don’t have a file in their minds called ‘All the Things That Could Go Wrong.’

Saying someone can’t be sad because someone else may have it worse is like saying someone can’t be happy because someone else may have it better.

We don’t need more money, we don’t need greater success or fame, we don’t need the perfect body or even the perfect mate—right now, at this very moment, we have a mind, which is all the basic equipment we need to achieve complete happiness.

When one door of happiness closes, another opens, but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one that has been opened for us.

It is not how much we have but how much we enjoy that makes happiness.

Live your life and forget your age.

Be the reason someone smiles today.

Believing in our hearts that who we are is enough is the key to a more satisfying and balanced life.
