Stay kind. It makes you beautiful.

When I was a boy and I would see scary things in the news, my mother would say to me, ‘Look for the helpers. You will always find people who are helping.’

Despite all the bad days and mean people, I still believe in good days and kind people. Plus, there are always dogs.

If you have nothing but a caring family, believe me, you are rich.

Kindness: Loaning someone your strength instead of reminding them of their weakness.

Tell people what you love about them. Less criticism, more compliments.

Do what you can, when you can, with as much love and honesty as you can, and when you can’t, rest.

Being told you’re appreciated is one of the simplest yet most incredible things you can ever hear.

Be kind to one another. Say a word or two of encouragement. You never know who may need those gentle reminders more than anything today.

If today gets difficult, remember the smell of coffee, the way sunlight bounces off a window, the sound of your favorite person’s laugh, the feeling when a song you love comes on, the color of the sky at dusk, and that we are here to take care of each other.

If speaking kindly to plants can help them grow, imagine what speaking kindly to humans can do.

Please remember to check in on your strong friend, your busy friend, your happy friend, your ‘seems to handle everything well’ friend.

You may not always see the results of your kindness, but every bit of positive energy you contribute to the world makes it a better place for all of us.

You can be whoever you want to be. Just be honest and kind. And be the kind of person who helps others see their worth and beauty.

I will never be that friend who calls you every day, but I will always be that friend you can rely on when your world collapses.

Be kind to past versions of yourself that didn’t know the things you know now.

Having a smart brain is not enough. We also need a warm heart.

Wherever you go, leave a heartprint.

This is for everyone who tries. Who tries to learn, tries to grow, tries to respond kindly and wisely, tries to recognize their own issues instead of blaming everyone else. This is for everyone who tries to be their best even when they’re not feeling their best. I see you. I appreciate you. And I hope you know you make the world a better place, just by being you.

Kindness is choosing love over hate, light over darkness, compassion over judgment.
