Announcement: Wish you could change the past? Learn to let go and create a life you love with the Tiny Buddha course!

Live your life for you not for anyone else. Don’t let the fear of being judged, rejected or disliked stop you from being yourself.

What you do today can improve all your tomorrows.

It’s not the events of our lives that shape us, but our beliefs as to what those events mean.

A true measure of your worth includes all the benefits others have gained from your success.

When you love someone, the best thing you can offer is your presence. How can you love if you are not there?

Why try to be someone you’re not? Life is hard enough without adding impersonation to the skills required.

Worry looks around, fear looks back, faith looks up, guilt looks down, but I look forward.

A good life is when you assume nothing, do more, need less, smile often, dream big, laugh a lot and realize how blessed you are for what you have.

Be who you want to be, not what others want to see.

Pain can change you, but that doesn’t mean it has to be a bad change. Take that pain and turn it into wisdom.

The only way out of the labyrinth of suffering is to forgive.

You don’t stop having fun because you get old, you get old because you stop having fun.

Stop beating yourself up.  You are a work in progress; which means you get there a little at a time, not all at once.

It is not joy that makes us grateful. It is gratitude that makes us joyful.

Happiness is not something you postpone for the future; it is something you design for the present.

If you can’t change the circumstances, change your perspective.

Bad things do happen; how I respond to them defines my character and the quality of my life. I can choose to sit in perpetual sadness, immobilized by the gravity of my loss, or I can choose to rise from the pain and treasure the most precious gift I have—life itself.

No man is a failure who is enjoying life.

The heart is like a garden: it can grow compassion or fear, resentment or love. What seeds will you plant there?

If you persistently seek validation from others, you will inadvertently invalidate your own self-worth.
