Remember, being happy doesn’t mean you have it all. It simply means you’re thankful for all you have.

The most beautiful things in life are not things. They’re people and places and memories and pictures. They’re feelings and moments and smiles and laughter.

Some people could be given an entire field of roses and only see the thorns in it. Others could be given a single weed and only see the wildflower in it. Perception is a key component to gratitude. And gratitude a key component to joy.

If you made a mistake, apologize. If you are thankful, say it. If you are confused, ask questions. If you learn something, teach it. If you are stuck, ask for help. If you are wrong, admit it. If you can unselfishly give, give. If you love someone, tell them, now.

You gotta look for the good in the bad, the happy in the sad, the gain in your pain, and what makes you grateful not hateful.

In a society that has you counting money, pounds, calories, and steps, be a rebel and count your blessings instead.

As you get older you really just want to be surrounded by good people. People who are good for you, good to you, and good for your soul.

I don’t care much for things I can’t take with me after I die. Give me love. Moments. Purpose. Things that’ll settle in the soul.

You should always tell people how important they are to you. Always.

Being told you’re appreciated is one of the simplest yet most incredible things you can ever hear.

If today gets difficult, remember the smell of coffee, the way sunlight bounces off a window, the sound of your favorite person’s laugh, the feeling when a song you love comes on, the color of the sky at dusk, and that we are here to take care of each other.

Train your mind and heart to see the good in everything. There is always something to be thankful for.

Being genetically related doesn’t make you family. Love, support, trust, sacrifice, honesty, protection, acceptance, security, compromise, gratitude, respect and loyalty are what make you family.

My life isn’t perfect, but I am thankful for what I have.

Be kind. Be thoughtful. Be genuine. But most of all, be thankful.

I woke up. I have clothes to wear. I have running water. I have food to eat. I am thankful.

One of the greatest gifts you can give someone is thanking them for being part of your life.

Today be thankful and think how rich you are. Your family is priceless. Your health is wealth. Your time is gold.

At the end of the day I am thankful that my blessings are bigger than my problems.

It’s okay if you don’t feel grateful in this moment, even if you know you have a lot to be grateful for. Let yourself feel whatever you feel. It will be a lot easier to focus on your blessings after you let the pain run through you.
